I Told My Panic Attacks To Leave!

What do I mean by “Panic attack cures first – anxiety cures second”?

I mean this…we know you have anxiety issues and that, generally, panic attacks rise up out of your overall heightened anxiety levels.

The anxiety is bad for you and impacts your life negatively in so many ways.

But panic attacks make you feel frightened, they make you feel like you are going crazy, and they make you feel like you may die.

And the techniques that work to bring panic attacks under control will also work, in large part, to relieve elevated anxiety, too.

You see there is so much of this that’s tied up in a “loop”…a sort of “feedback loop” that starts to regenerate itself on it’s old energy.

You think of something that makes you anxious. That makes you nervous because you are afraid of it getting worse. The thought of it getting worse sets your anxiety house on fire.

It may only go to a very high level of anxiety or the “fire” might go out of control and spike into an uncontrollable panic attack. Anything but that! More anxiety.

And around and around it goes.

When, in a couple of days, or even less, you find out how easy it is to break this vicious cycle of fear, you’ll laugh – out loud. You’ll wonder how you ever got stuck in there. In the place I call the “anxiety carnival madhouse”.

I was always a great one for personalizing thoughts into evil (or good) entities. I was equally adept at metaphors and I think I used those constructs to be able to think about this stuff without setting off alarms. There I go again. Oh well, that’s me.
